Guiyang Free Trade Zone – in Southwest China’s Guizhou province – recently established a platform for opening-up with another free trade zone.
Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 16 issued a series of policies designed to ensure the restoration of work and production by companies in the city.
Guiyang Free Trade Zone is making constant efforts to develop as an inland open economic pilot zone and a core area for international consumer goods manufacturing, as well as a modern services industry cluster featuring bonded services.
As an important logistics hub along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, the Dulaying international land-sea logistics port is expected to optimize Guiyang's logistics layout, improve efficiency and better link the corridor.
In order to promote industry revitalization and development and accelerate the pace of industrialization, the Guiyang CPC Committee and government issued the Opinions on the Policies to Develop the Industrial Economy, which ensures that the city will concentrate on developing its six key industries, namely, equipment manufacturing, aluminum processing, phosphorous processing, contemporary traditional Chinese medicine, green food and logistics.
