The Guiyang Free Trade Zone – situated in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – reported that it had achieved rapid growth in 2021, as it set out its development goals for 2022 at a work conference that took place in the city on Feb 21.
Guiyang registered 280,000 new business entities in 2021 – ranging from small sole traders to partnerships and through to large companies – taking the total number there to 901,300, a year-on-year increase of 35.7 percent.
The Guiyang Free Trade Zone reported that all of its 71 main companies and four projects resumed operations and development on Feb 15.
