Used car exports have become an effective way for Guizhou to expand its overseas presence. According to data, the province has to date exported 268 worth $6.76 million to countries and regions such as Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
Last year, Guiyang officially received permission to export used cars. In April, five foreign trade enterprises in Guiyang qualified to export used cars after being approved and filed by the Ministry of Commerce.
On Sept 14, more than 58,000 yuan in tax refunds were returned to Guizhou Bonded Auto Trade Import and Export Co, which marked the successful completion of Guizhou's first used car export tax refund.
With the coordinated efforts of the Guiyang Free Trade Zone's tax bureau, bureau of commerce, and Guizhou digital foreign trade comprehensive service platform, the time required for the application and processing of tax refunds for the first order of new enterprises and new businesses has been reduced from 60 to 90 days to just 30 days.
Next, Guiyang will take full advantage of the Guiyang International Land Port and explore international markets such as ASEAN, Central Asia, and South Asia.
Meanwhile, Guiyang FTZ is building a used car export base, expanding the scale of used car exports and helping companies improve their business, expand overseas, and promote the steady growth, optimized structure, and high-quality development of foreign trade.
