Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) held a meeting with representatives from the Bulgarian company Walltopia on July 13 to discuss and accelerate the development of the company's upcoming manufacturing base.
As a global leader in climbing wall solutions, Walltopia has completed over 1,800 climbing facility projects across six continents since its founding in 1998. This past May, the company selected the Guiyang FTZ as the site for its new production base.
During the meeting, Yao Feiyang, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Guiyang FTZ, emphasized the significance of the Walltopia project. Aiming for a swift launch and smooth production, the zone will continue to coordinate resources and maintain close communication with the company.
Looking ahead, he expressed hope that both sides would use this meeting as a springboard to give full play to their respective strengths, expand cooperation, and create a model of high-quality, mutually beneficial government-enterprise collaboration.
The project leader from Walltopia noted that establishing a production base in Guiyang marks a strategic step forward for the company in deepening its presence in Southwest China and expanding into Southeast Asia.
By capitalizing on Guiyang FTZ's strategic location, favorable policies, and robust logistics, the company expects to reduce transportation costs, shorten delivery times, and boost its overall competitiveness.
