Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) hosted a special edition of its "Open FTZ Tour" for the School of Economics at Guizhou University on June 22. More than 50 students and faculty members stepped onto the frontlines of global trade, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world trade operations.
The delegation's first stop was the Guizhou Global Superior Products Selection & Cultivation Center. Centered on core competencies in international trade, they examined an integrated business model spanning sourcing, display, transaction, and service, gaining deeper insight into the logic behind selecting unique Guizhou products for international markets, brand incubation, and cross-border marketing strategies.
During the practical classroom sessions, Guiyang Municipal Foreign Trade Development Group Co delivered a presentation to analyze the entire trade chain of raw material import, deep processing, and overseas brand expansion, offering the delegation a real-world case study in cross-border trade operations.
Following this, Guizhou Commercial Storage International Supply Chain Co provided an overview of the innovative "Consolidation + Single-Window System" introduced by the Guizhou International Cargo Consolidation Center. By turning front-line business scenarios into textbooks, they guided students in applying classroom knowledge of bonded warehousing and logistics management to real-world cases.
