Hainan Free Trade Port launched its full-island customs clearance operation on Dec 18. Since then, the port has become a key bridge linking the Chinese mainland with the global market.

This year, Guizhou's "Opinions on Supporting the High-Quality Development of Guiyang International Land Port" outlined plans for Guiyang International Land Port to collaborate with coastal ports such as Hainan's Yangpu Port and Guangdong's Zhanjiang Port.

Together, they aim to establish a combined port system and develop a parallel port model to streamline customs clearance for rail-sea intermodal transport.

Under this parallel port logistics model, Guiyang International Land Port, Zhanjiang Port, and Yangpu Port will further optimize same-price arrival for imported goods, same-price departure for exported goods, and same-efficiency customs services.

By sharing shipping resources, the three ports will maximize loading efficiency, lower container logistics costs, and accelerate the transshipment and distribution of goods.

As of the end of October, Guiyang International Land Port had already launched 22 domestic and 24 international transport routes, connecting 22 countries and regions, including Southeast Asia and the European Union. Additionally, its "Qianlianda" multimodal transportation network now covers 148 countries and 580 regions.

Looking ahead, Guiyang International Land Port will continue to expand the Guizhou-Guangdong-Hainan parallel port model, utilize the policy advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port, and strengthen partnerships with ports and logistics enterprises from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
