Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ), in collaboration with Guizhou Provincial Big Health Industry Federation, organized a policy briefing session on Dec 11, which aimed to utilize the platforms provided by Guiyang FTZ to help promote high-quality traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) products from Guizhou around the globe.
During the session, officials from Guiyang FTZ introduced the zone's functional advantages, geographical conditions, industrial policies, foreign trade services, and product export pathways to attending enterprises.
In the interactive session, representatives from industry associations, academic institutions, and enterprises engaged in discussions about Guizhou's TCM industrial foundation, natural resources, product positioning, qualification certifications, overseas markets, intellectual property protection, development opportunities, and case studies.
Enterprise representatives acknowledged the functional, geographical, and logistical advantages of Guiyang FTZ, along with its robust industrial policy support. They expressed hopes to strengthen ties with the zone and utilize its open platforms to further expand into international markets.
Guiyang FTZ will fully utilize its many platforms and tools, such as Guiyang International Land Port, China-Europe (Central Asia) and China-Laos freight trains, Guizhou-Guangdong Express, New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Guiyang-Hong Kong direct trains, consolidation and distribution centers, product selection centers, customs clearance facilitation, and foreign trade integrated service platforms, to boost the export of Guizhou TCM.
