Guizhou International Consolidation and Distribution Center, the first of its kind in Southwest China's Guizhou province, launched in Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) on Sept 28.
Integrating government, port, and business data, the center aims to address the challenges of small-batch, multi-frequency distribution for local foreign trade enterprises. It is also a key initiative in cultivating market entities, driving industrial clustering, and promoting the high-quality development of Guizhou's open economy.
The center focuses on ASEAN and Central Asia as primary markets, with rail services and cross-border trucking as main transportation services. By integrating multimodal transport resources, such as inspection center warehouses, international land port consolidation yards, on-grid/off-grid warehouses, and self-operated specialized warehouses, supported by cold chain facilities, overseas warehouses, and digital platforms, the center reduces logistics costs, creating a channel for Guizhou goods going global.
The center has implemented six customs facilitation measures to streamline inspections and reduce processing time. Enterprises can enjoy expedited tax refunds for goods exiting Guiyang FTZ, easing financial pressure and boosting participation.
In terms of service scope, priority is given to market entities handling shipments at Guiyang International Land Port, as well as goods produced and traded within the province. Support is provided for open channels and export-oriented industries.
Single-bill, single-container, and single-ticket integrated logistics services are promoted, enabling enterprises to enjoy one-stop solutions that reduce costs and improve efficiency.
