The commissioning ceremony of the Guizhou international consolidation and distribution center was held in Guiyang Free Trade Zone on Sept 28.
The center will focus on system optimization and smooth cargo flow, accelerating the construction of a global warehousing system of inspection center warehouses, international land port consolidation yards (warehouses), intra-network consolidation warehouses, extra-network consolidation warehouses and self-operated professional warehouses.
It will be equipped with cold chain facilities, overseas warehouses, and digital platforms aimed at strengthening the main functions of consolidation and distribution, with a focus on consolidating international trade transit and distribution centers. It will serve as an important international freight hub in Southwest China.
After the center is put into operation, it will give full play to the advantages of "zone-port linkage", accelerate the formation of an international logistics infrastructure network system with ASEAN and Central Asia, and "four-way trains + cross-border truck convoys", helping Guizhou products go global, and promote the high-quality development of the province's open economy.
