The Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has expanded its opening-up channels by strengthening its multimodal transport network, innovating operational models, and strengthening industrial support.

Relying on Dulaying Railway Station, Guiyang FTZ has established China's first bonded international land port, the Guiyang International Land Port, and created a "single declaration, single inspection, single release" customs clearance model.

It has also enhanced connectivity northward to the Eurasian continent, southward to the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, eastward to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for seamless land and sea port connections, and westward to the China-Laos Railway.

Guiyang FTZ has built cross-regional port collaboration, establishing land ports in cooperation with Guangzhou Port, Shenzhen Port, and Beibu Gulf Port, and implementing a rapid customs clearance model for rail-sea intermodal transport, achieving mutual recognition of port supervision and data interoperability.

The zone has focused on cultivating industrial clusters, planning related industries around opening channels, and attracting a number of logistics and trade-related enterprises. It has established a "bonded + industry" mechanism, utilizing the "domestic customs area" policy advantages of the zone to promote the full-chain development of the "bonded warehousing + distribution + display and trade" model.

In the future, the zone will promote key tasks such as port channel construction, platform development, and industrial growth, making its contribution to the high-level opening-up and high-quality development of Guizhou.
