Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) bureau of tax has implemented three major initiatives – setting up a legal publicity front, using diversified methods to resolve disputes, and precisely pushing out policies – to optimize the business environment and the rule of law.
A tax law publicity area has been established in the 6C Tax Service Hall, providing policy consultation, risk diagnosis, and business handling services. The area, in collaboration with legal advisors, helps enterprises achieve excellent aggregation of R&D expenses.
To resolve tax-related disputes, the bureau has created a "Zongyi Service Station" with a team consisting of tax bureau officials, public-interest lawyers, and market supervision mediators. This station handles and mediates tax-related disputes. To date, it has successfully mediated 12 cases, achieving a 100 percent success rate.
Relying on the enterprise tagging system of the electronic tax service, the bureau identifies businesses in sectors such as semiconductors and cross-border e-commerce, and delivers tailored policies. Currently, this has helped popularize key points of various tax policies for over 800 enterprises.
Moving forward, Guiyang FTZ bureau of tax will continue to deepen its legal publicity efforts, promote the concept of tax rule of law, and contribute to the healthy development of the regional economy.
