Under the agreement, the parties will collaborate in three key areas:
Route development: Create themed travel experiences that blend Guiyang's cool climate, vibrant ethnic culture, and mountain adventure, tailored to overseas travelers.
Joint marketing: Use Trip.com's global platforms to promote Guiyang abroad and raise the international popularity of its "Cool Guiyang" brand.
Talent exchange: Launch bilateral training programs to align tourism service standards with international norms and build a skilled, globally minded tourism workforce.
Guiyang has also been recognized on Trip.com Group's 2025 Top 100 Must-Visit Destinations in China and Top 100 in Asia. As China's first "National Forest City", it draws global attention for its average summer temperature of 22.3 C, consistently clean air, and open, welcoming spirit.
This partnership signals Guiyang's ambition to grow its inbound tourism market and transform its climate resources into economic gains, while supporting the internationalization of Guizhou's culture and tourism sectors.
