According to Guiyang development and reform commission, the Guizhou Science and Technology Innovation Park of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Guiyang Torch Software Industrial Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have recently been included among Guiyang's first batch of comprehensive public service complexes for strategic emerging industries, following independent application, departmental review, on-site inspection, expert evaluation, and public announcement.
Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang development and reform commission has regarded the construction of innovation platforms as a key task for enhancing enterprise innovation capabilities, promoting industrial upgrading, and driving economic growth.
It has issued the "management measures for the recognition of comprehensive public service complexes for strategic emerging industries in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area (trial)" and organized the recognition of strategic emerging industry public service complexes for the year 2024.
Among the first batch of recognized strategic emerging industry public service complexes, the Guizhou Science and Technology Innovation Park of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a major innovation platform co-established by the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, Guizhou Provincial People's Government, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
It aims to attract science and technology talents and achievements from both inside and outside the province for commercialization of achievements in Guizhou. The park has already established platforms such as the Guiyang Inspection Base of National Quality Inspection Center, Guizhou Technology Exchange Market, and the "Hall of Honor" for enterprise value services, providing public services such as technology transfer, innovation and incubation, and the trade of intellectual property rights and technologies.
The Guiyang Torch Software Industrial Park is the first national-level professional incubator in Guizhou, offering an incubation service chain consisting of makerspaces, incubators, accelerators, and industrial parks.
It provides offices, technology innovation, commercialization of achievements, investment and financing, and professional training for entrepreneurial teams, startups and growing enterprises in fields such as information technology, software development, big data, and the internet.
In the future, the commission will continue to optimize the planning of innovation platforms, improve work mechanisms, strengthen performance assessment, implement supporting policies, and urge comprehensive complexes to enhance innovation and service functions.
It will enhance resource openness and sharing, help enterprises reduce operating costs, improve platform innovation capabilities and public service levels, boost the high-quality development of strategic emerging industries and nurture new quality productive forces in Guiyang.
