Guiyang FTZ's economic growth leads in Guiyang

In 2023, several economic development indicators in Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) were the highest in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Data shows that Guiyang FTZ achieved a total import and export volume of 16.23 billion yuan ($2.26 billion) in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 28.89 percent, the highest in the city in absolute value.

Fixed asset investment reached 1.52 billion yuan, the highest in the city, of which private investment accounted for 68.5 percent, surpassing the zone's target by 28.5 percentage points and the highest proportion in the city.

Industrial investment, the growth rate of added value of enterprises above a designated size, and revenue from software and information technology services all ranked in the top three in the city.

The total paid-up investment in newly-introduced projects reached 1.32 billion yuan, with the industrial sector accounting for 23.37 percent. The actual utilization of foreign capital reached $15 million, with a growth rate of 104.45 percent year-on-year.
