A trade delegation from Buinsk in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, visited the Guiyang Free Trade Zone (Guiyang FTZ) for a bilateral exchange meeting on Jan 24.
During the meeting, representatives from Guiyang FTZ elaborated on its advantages in terms of location, transportation, key industries, and bonded services. Resident companies in Guiyang FTZ engaged in in-depth business discussions regarding international logistics and food processing with the delegation.
Both parties conducted detailed discussions on investment and trade cooperation, expressing their commitment to deepening friendly exchanges and building a broader platform for cooperative initiatives that will enhance economic and trade relations.
Subsequently, the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee and the Federation of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote diversified economic cooperation based on mutual benefit. This will further expand the commercial relationship between enterprises from both regions.
Liu Shengwei, deputy director of the Guiyang FTZ Administrative Committee, emphasized at the meeting that Guiyang is striving to become an inland open economy hub that boosts the high-quality development of an export-oriented economy.
Liu encouraged both parties to cooperate in broader fields, promoting mutual benefits and win-win development. Guiyang FTZ pledged to provide proactive, efficient, and precise services to facilitate the implementation of cooperative initiatives. It also promises to create a top-notch business environment that is characterized by marketization, rule of law, and international standards.
