Luan Yan, secretary of the Party working committees of Guiyang Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and Guian New Area FTZ, hosted a meeting on Jan 29 aimed at making arrangements for the two zones' safe economic operation and production, as well as for epidemic prevention and control.
The meeting attendees heard that all departments of the two zones should take further steps in terms of epidemic prevention and control in order to kick-start economic and social development.
To welcome the Chinese Spring Festival, the two zones will make preparations and improve environmental sanitation to add a festive atmosphere.
On many occasions during the conference, Luan emphasized the importance of safe production, and called on relevant departments and enterprises to enhance their responsibility and sense of urgency toward this issue.
During the Spring Festival, the two zones will help enterprises to implement epidemic prevention and control measures to ensure stable production.
The two zones will urge enterprises to improve the wage payment and security systems for migrant workers, resolving late wage payments for them and protecting their legal rights.
