A series of consensuses were forged between Guiyang Free Trade Zone in Southwest Guizhou province and companies in Beijing and Ningbo on Dec 18-19, to promote the settlement of projects and expand cooperation fields, officials said.

These accords were reached when Luan Yan, head of Guiyang Free Trade Zone's management committee, led a delegation to the DXC Technology Beijing branch, Sinopharm Group Co Ltd and the Ningbo-based Zhenjiang Canal Food Co Ltd.
Officials said that wherever the delegation visited, they spared no efforts to promote Guiyang's modern governance, the integrated development between Guiyang and Guian and the province's new industrial development strategy and growth.
Guiyang and Guian New Area -- China's eighth national new area approved by the State Council in January 2014 -- have big development potential and promising future, Luan said.
The comprehensive bonded zones in the two places will provide excellent services to help companies, he added.
The Guiyang Free Trade Zone will apply for a public platform for DXC's new medicine, in full support of the Fortune Global 500 company's market expansion and deep cooperation in both Guiyang and Guian, Luan said at the Beijing headquarters of DXC Technology.
When he visited the import and export logistics base of Sinopharm in Beijing Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Luan expressed his hope for an early start of operations of the company's Guizhou project and expansion of international medicines import business.
In addition, Guiyang Free Trade Zone will take active measures to integrate its resources to support Canal's Guizhou tea leaf project.
It will do so, by revising cooperation agreements and improving relevant procedures, Luan added, after deep discussions were held on the project and agreement articles with the food company.
Representatives of the companies were positive about Guiyang Free Trade Zone's achievements and promised to strengthen their cooperation in wider fields, expanding the opening-up and high quality of the zone.
