The Guiyang Free Trade Zone is located in the northern part of downtown Guiyang, with the loop highway within easy access. It has a planned area of 10.83 sq kilometers. The first net zone of 1.003 sq kilometers has already been constructed.
The zone features convenient transportation. It is about 18 kilometers, or a 20-minute drive, from Longdongbao airport. It is only 13 kilometers from Guiyang old town (provincial administrative center), 10 kilometers from the Guanshanhu exhibition center (city administrative center), 11 kilometers from Guiyang North Railway Station and about 3 kilometers from Guiyang East Railway Station. It takes less than half an hour to go from the zone to these places.
The free trade zone has a great climate with an annual average temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.
