A Spanish economic and trade delegation visited the Guiyang Free Trade Zone on Oct 9, 2019.

Under the leadership of Lin Feng, honorary president of the Barcelona Federation of Overseas Chinese Societies, the delegation looked into the zone's development program and regional advantages.
The delegation and the zone reached preliminary consensus on setting up a representative office of the Sino-western Trade Promotion Association in Guiyang. The two sides negotiated specific cooperation projects, such as increasing export of Guizhou ingredients and distinctive agricultural products to Spain and importing medium and high-end consumer goods from Spain to China, on the basis of both sides' high-quality resources.
Huang Jun and Yan Shucheng, members of the zone's Party Working Committee, accompanied the delegation on their inspection. Representatives of the zone's Bureau of Investment Promotion, the International Cooperation Office and Bonded Area Group attended the seminar held as part of the tour.
